The short version: MEGASTAR collects no data. None.
MEGASTAR is a single-player band-management game. The entire game runs locally on your device. The app makes zero network requests — it does not even request the Android internet permission.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, usage data, analytics, identifiers, or diagnostics. There are no ads, no third-party SDKs, no accounts, and no in-app purchases.
Your game progress (saved career, settings, hall of fame) is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the in-game "Export save" feature, which hands a save file to you via the system share sheet. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children. Note the game carries a content rating for mature themes inherited from the original 1989 game (references to drugs and alcohol within the simulation).
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future update adds any online feature), the change will be listed here with a new date before it ships.
